Administrative Assistant

The administrative assistant to join our team and deliver exceptional internal and external administrative support to our team members and clients. We are seeking an energetic, detail oriented and conscientious individual with excellent interpersonal and telephone skills. Candidate must take initiative and work well independently.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls

  • Make appointments for clients and reschedule appointments as necessary

  • Manage Incoming Electronic Communications

  • Put tax return packages together for mailing/emailing insuring confidentiality

  • Ensure that mailed in tax returns have been scanned, logged in, and digitally filed for preparation

  • Electronic and hard copy filing and management

  • Work later in the evenings and every Saturday during tax season

  • Administrative projects as directed

Position will be full time during tax season (Jan – Apr) and full OR part time during off season.

Audit Manager
 

Candidate must have 5-7 years of experience in small to medium size accounting firms including the preparation of both business entities and individual tax returns, financial statement preparation, audit and review experience, payroll, etc. The candidate should have a working knowledge of industry standards (AICPA, PCAOB) and financial reporting, must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with ProFx, Quickbooks, and Engagement a major plus!

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Public accounting experience

  • Must have an active CPA license

  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a minimum of 2 years of managerial experience

  • Strong understanding of C and S Corporations, LLCs, and Partnerships

Senior Accountant - Audit & Tax
 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing support within the audit and tax departments. Primary duties and responsibilities include assisting with audit, review and compilation engagements as well as tax preparation (individual, corporate, non-profit) and various business consulting services.  We are looking for someone with 3-10 years of audit and/or tax experience. CPA or CPA candidate is a major plus.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Public accounting experience

  • CPA or CPA candidate

  • Current knowledge of GAAP and tax code

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Pro Systems FX applications, Microsoft Office and Accounting Research Manager is a plus.

Staff Accountant
 

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for providing support to our account managers by assisting with general accounting functions (e.g. financial statement preparation, write-up, balance sheet reconciliation, etc.). We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience in the field; however, recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply. A majority of our clients are in the construction industry, therefore, some experience or an interest in that area is a plus.
